Tilden Hooper, Professional Bareback Rider, has competed professionally since 2006. We asked Hooper what inspires or motivates him he said, “The great champions before me like Lewis Feild, who have been fierce competitors in the arena and awesome role models outside of the arena, are what inspire me every day.” Hooper was born and raised in Carthage, Texas. His hobbies include cooking out with his friends, hanging out at the lake wake surfing and going skiing and hunting. Currently, Hooper is ready to make a comeback from a single neck infusion injury that occurred in 2012. Be prepared to see Hooper on top of his game for the ERA Bareback Riding Tour

Q: What do you want the fans to know most about ERA?
A: I want the fans to understand they are watching the top guys in each respective event and how excited we are to showcase our talents for the fans and hopefully create more fans for the sport we love so much.
Q:What do you hope is different about the ERA based on a fan’s perspective?
A:I hope as a fan they are will be able to understand and see who we are as athletes and how much we put into this sport.
Q:What excites you most about the sport?
A:The thrill you get from making a great ride, getting off on the pick-up man and seeing the fans and guys on the back of the chutes cheering for you.
Q:Tell us about your rookie year and any advice you have for those just starting out?
A:My rookie year was awesome! I traveled with Justin McDaniel and learned a lot that year. I would suggest traveling with guys that push you to be better inside and outside of the arena
