Isaac Diaz, Professional Saddle Bronc Rider, has competed professionally since 2006. He competes in one of the toughest events in rodeo. We asked him what he thinks about before he jumps in the chute he said, “In my mind, I am thinking—“I am getting into a fight and I better win!” He is clearly one of the best in the business and has won quite a few of those fights. Diaz lives in Desdemona, Texas with his wife and Professional Barrel Racer, Brittany. When he is not competing, he enjoys riding horses, roping and fishing.

Q: What do you want the fans to know most about ERA?
A: ERA creates a bigger and better career for rodeo athletes.

Q: What do you hope is different about the ERA based on a fan’s perspective?
A: The ERA will make it easier for fans to get more involved and up to date with their favorite rodeo athletes.

Q: What excites you most about the sport?
A: It excites me not knowing what the horse I am crawling on is going to do.

Q: Do you have a rodeo routine you stick to when preparing to compete? Any silly superstition?
A: I always pray to my Lord and Savior.

Q: Before you jump in the chute…what is on your mind?
