Clif Cooper, Professional Tie-Down Roper, has competed professionally since 2008. He is coming out of retirement to be apart of the ERA. He says, “I’m ready to show the world about rodeo, America’s original past time.” He added, “I would like the fans to know about the hard work, dedication, practice and passion it takes to be one of the best athletes in the world.”

Cooper lives in Decatur, Texas with his wife Terryn and their daughter. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys cooking out with his friends and family. His hobbies include playing basketball, shooting guns, wake surfing and loving life!

Rodeo runs in his blood. He is part of the famous Cooper family in the rodeo industry. His dad is Roy Cooper, and his brothers are Tuf and Clint Cooper.

A:I would like the fans to know about the hard work, dedication, practice and passion it takes to be one of the best athletes in the world.

Q:Horses are a vital part to your success on the road. Tell us about your most favorite equine athlete.
A:My horses are what help provide for my family. They become a family member and a special bond forms; they give you everything they got. I am truly thankful for my horses.

Q:Before you back in the box…what is on your mind?
A:I am focused on the mission to win!

A: Family is what motivates me to wake up and be the best person I can be, everyday!
